The Bella Rose Arts Centre is a strong supporter of young artists and young audiences. Programming in arts education is a result of partnering with the local schools of the area and supporting Halifax West High School in both drama and music. Teachers from the Family of Schools are also invited to showcase their young performers at the Bella Rose. For more information please contact the Executive Director. 

The Bella Rose Arts Centre is a proud supporter of the Canadian- Improv Games, Nova Scotia Chapter. The Games is a loving competition between teams of high school students trained to perform spontaneous, improvised scenes.

The Regional Games were held in the Bella Rose during the month of February, with the Finals on March 01.

Congratulations to the Improv Team from Sir John A. MacDonald High School who will represent Nova Scotia at the National Tournament to be held at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa on April 8-12, 2008.
